News Quarterly - Submission

Newsletter articles are always welcome. Here are some guidelines when submitting articles for publication in the News Quarterly:

  • Format: If possible, provide the document in Microsoft Word format. Otherwise, provide the article in rich text format (*.rtf).  Please DO NOT send files in Microsoft Publisher (*.pub) format.
  • Font: Use Arial, 10 point. Use 6 points before and after paragraphs, and justify the text to both sides of the page. A full column of text (no graphics or photos) consists of about 360 words.
  • Photographs: Digital is preferred, but prints are acceptable as well.
  • Submitting files: Email submission is generally preferred. However, if files are very large (1 MB or greater), please burn them to a CD and send them by snail mail.
  • Author information: Please remember to include full contact information.

All the above aside, we’d rather work with a non-conforming article than miss a good article, so even if these guidelines aren’t met, send the material along anyway.

Submit articles and attachments by email to the News Quarterly Editor. If files are too large for email submission, burn them to a CD and send them by regular mail (see About Us -Officers page for the current Editor's mailing address).
